FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2024

Friday, October 4 will feature academic panel discussions on Miss Lou’s influence on dub poetry and folklore.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2024

Family fun day and concert showcasing traditional and contemporary presentations that celebrate “we culture” with a “Clap Yuself" Children's Zone; live entertainment, sponsor booths and other activities.
The day will feature a curated Louise Bennett-Coverley Poetry Competition; Open Mic for new and upcoming performers and poets;  Traditional Folk Form performances by schools and dance groups; Awards presentation to Professor Mervyn Morris and Marjorie Whylie, for their contribution to the legacy of the Hon. Louise Bennett-Coverley; Established and up-coming musicians and a well-known headline act.  The event will be live streamed to facilitate the participation of individuals in the Diaspora.
